Summary and Objective

We, the ILLING Company are seeking highly motivated, experienced sales representative with a proven track record in Packaging Sales and Services that can help us expand our business and customer base at our ROMEOVILLE, IL location. We design and distribute packaging needs for the Chemical, Industrial, Automotive, Pool, Food, Pharmaceutical, Hydroponics, Personal Care, Pet Care, and Craft Beer & Spirits Markets.

Our key Packaging Materials can range from plastic bottles, plastic pails/lids, plastic tubs, plastic drums or steel drums, steel pails/plugs, totes and fiber drums. Other Product offerings include a tube division, acrylic, & glassware.

We also design new custom packaging containers with our clients. In addition; our company has capabilities to silkscreen bottles and label plastic and steel pails.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:

  • Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business and existing customers
  • Introduces new products or our value-add services to customers
  • Determine customer needs and propose appropriate service needs
  • Follows up on quotations with customer and document the outcome of the proposed packaging option(s).
  • Proven sales negotiation, presentations and skills to close the deal.
  • Respond swiftly, thoroughly and effectively to customer crises to assure satisfactory resolution
  • Showcase effective territory management, able to plan and organize schedule effectively
  • Achieves sales goal designated for acquired accounts.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings meeting our standards.
  • Participate in scheduled Sales meetings to review sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.
  • Executes sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner, assuring a favorable impression of self and the company.
  • Ability to maintain tact and composure even when faced with difficult circumstances or situations
  • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficiency in companies operating software, MS-Word and MS-Excel.
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule that may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
  • This position reports to the President of the Romeoville, Illinois location.
