ILLING Packaging Went The Distance for Charitable Donations!
We’re delighted to announce that ILLING Packaging recently organized a 5K charity walk for our employees to promote healthy lifestyles while raising funds for important community charities.
The sunshine came out and 25 employees participated in the charity walk around our outdoor track that loops around the state-of-the-art new Wisconsin Headquarters. Remote employees were also given the option to participate at their location to get in on the fun and contribute donations to these charities. Together, the participants went the distance for donations and tracked over 60 miles!
Employees were able to take laps, earning funds to donate on each lap they were able to complete, up to the full 5K (3.1 miles). The employees then got to choose where to apply their donations amongst three local charity options: Washington Humane Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County, and Interfaith Caregivers.
Together we were able to raise a great charitable donation for 3 very worthy local causes while promoting wellness and healthy lifestyle choices! What an amazing day of wellness, community, and fun!
